Mini Apple Pie

INGRIDIANTS
CRUST
Cups flour - 2
Cup butter (chilled) 2⁄3
Teaspoon salt - 1
Tablespoons water – 4
FILLING
Medium apples (peeled and chopped up into small pieces) - 3
Cup sugar - 3⁄4
Teaspoons cinnamon - 2
Tablespoons butter (chilled) -2
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- In food processor blend flour, salt and butter until it looks like little peas.
- Add in water and blend just until it looks like its sticking.
- Take out and combine it by hand until well blended.
- Roll out on lightly floured surface until about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut 12, 4 inch circles with cup or bowl.
- In a pan add butter once it melts add the chopped apples, sugar, ground cinnamon, until fully soften.
- Note: you can use the rest of the crust for anything you may want to do on top of the pies. Cut stripes and cover the pie base in a crisscross manner.
- You can decorate top area anyway you like with extra crust dough.
- Once it done, Brushing on just whisked egg yolk will lead to a deep golden browned baked good, with a good shine.
- Finally bake at 425 degrees for 16-18 minutes. By putting the tray on a middle shelf. (Until crust is light brown and apples are bubbling).
- When cool, it will come right out.
