Microwave Tandoori Chicken


Ingredients of Microwave Tandoori Chicken (serving 2)
Take 457 grams chicken 

For Marination take:
  • 3/4 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup yoghurt (curd)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger and garlic paste 
  • 1 teaspoon refined oil
  • 1 tablespoon dry red chili
  • 1 tablespoon garam-masala powder
  • 1 tablespoon tandoori masala

  • Step 1- Wash the chickenTo prepare this dish, start by washing the chicken with some luke warm water and then wash it again under cold water. Drain out the excess water and pat dry. Cut the chicken pieces, make diagonal incisions all over the chicken.
  • Step 2- Marinate the chicken
    Marinate the chicken with a melange of spices, lemon juice and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Step 3- Use the Convection mode in the microwave (Lower Shelf)Then, put the chicken in a microwave plate for 20 mins, change sides frequently.
  • Step 4- Use the Grill mode (High Rack)Now grill for 20 mins, change the sides after 10 mins.
  • Step 5- Serve hot!
Sprinkle some chaat masala and serve hot. To add on to the taste you can also drizzle some lemon juice and sliced onion.
